Sweet Commotion is a unique locally owned Bakery & Catering Company opened in Nov 2013. They are located in West Fargo and we service the greater Fargo-Moorhead area. We specialize in Custom BBQ Sauces, Smoked Meats, Candies/Cookies, Baked Goods, and specialty items such as Lefse, Fudge (34 flavors), and our Famous Chocolate Dipped Carmel Pretzels. We also cater for venues big and small. We strive to make EVERY customer happy and will prepare personalized menus for your event!

Having been involved in the food service industry for a number of years in both the private and public sector we started Sweet Commotion with the idea that it had to be special and unique. It would also serve the needs of every client that we have the opportunity to serve.

 

Our Story

How It All Began

Back at the very beginning, we were both involved with the food service industry working for a variety of private and public companies.  The day came when we had been asked to actually cater for some events that we realized this would be something we really enjoyed doing.  The other part of the journey was being our own boss and producing high-quality product.  In 2013 we opened the doors and we have never looked back.

What We Offer



Daily Fresh Menus

Everything we do is handmade with the greatest of care.  Whether it is food for your lunch out of the food truck.  Lunches that we serve at various commercial locations of the catering of a private event.



Fresh Ingredients

In our food, we use fresh produce purchased on a daily basis.  The food always tastes better and looks better when we use fresh products to create the food we serve.  We have a very high standard for food quality and it shows.



The appearance and taste of our meals is a reflection of taking great care in its preparation and knowing what our clients are looking for in the food the purchase from us.



Creative Chefs

We have a long history in the food service industry.  They have worked professionally for at least two decades and love what they do whether it is the chocolate, caramel pretzels or the delicious pulled pork.  The food is the result of many years of learning and caring about the best experience of the guests of Sweet Commotion.



Authentic Cuisine

When many people of the Fargo-Moorhead area think of Sweet Commotion there are a few things that come to mind.  Barbeque sauce of many different varieties, the chocolate, caramel pretzels, and so many other baked goods including a fan favorite, homemade lefsa.



If you are looking for great desserts Sweet Commotion offers many different types of pies, cookies, cakes and cupcakes.  Whatever the event, whether its for a treat for afternoon coffee or a wedding party or graduation event… Sweet Commotion would like to help make them extra special.

We do cater meals and events.  This means that we schedule according to the needs of our clients.
